Project Overview
The Construction Management App is a real-time collaboration platform tailored for site managers, contractors, and supervisors. Designed to bridge the communication gap between on-site and office teams, the app streamlines task execution, resource tracking, and team coordination to minimize project delays. As the lead UI/UX designer, I handled the full design lifecycle—from research and wireframes to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff.

Problem Statement
Construction teams often rely on scattered tools like spreadsheets, messaging apps, and paper logs. This leads to misalignment, delayed reporting, and lost productivity.
The challenge was to create a centralized, intuitive solution that works seamlessly in demanding on-site environments, especially for users with limited technical exposure.
Why is this happening?
-
Project delays
-
Inefficient attendance
-
Manual records
-
Lack of real time progress
Possible Solution
Create the most convenient application with minimalistic design that solves many problems related to the organization of staff work, setting tasks and communicating.
The work process is organized due to the ability to assign deadlines, statuses and prioritise task.
What can we do?
-
Streamline communication between teams
-
Enable real-time updates and collaboration
-
Reduce manual errors and task delays
-
Organized financial and task tracking

Customer Journey Map
The user journey helped map out daily site operations, highlighting gaps and opportunities for UX improvement.
Home Screen
The Home screen is designed as a quick-access control hub for site managers, enabling them to monitor projects, take action, and stay aligned with ongoing work at a glance. Since site managers often operate under time pressure, the interface prioritizes clarity, speed, and familiarity.

Access to notifications
Banner reinforces the product’s purpose and acts as a contextual reminder of the app’s value
Project cards allow users to compare multiple projects easily, while clear status indicators help prioritize attention
Creating a new project

Material & Vendor Tracking
Transaction enables site teams to record and track all party and vendor-related financial activities, including GST, directly from the site. Ensures financial transparency between site and office teams to reduce dependency on paper bills

Labor Attendance & Payments
Attendance allows site managers to track daily labor attendance with overtime calculation and role-based visibility.
To reduce manual errors and proxy attendance. Floating action button for fast labour addition.

Petty Cash Management
Petty Cash enables contractors and site managers to log small daily expenses instantly, ensuring better control over site-level spending.
Task Management
Task helps site managers assign, track, and follow up on tasks, ensuring work progresses without delays.
