Overview
Fotostax is a start-up tech company that is
developing a wrap-around printer capable of
printing motion, flip and 3D photos. As part of my UI/UX course with Experience Haus, I collaborated with two fellow mates to create this app. Our mission was to fabricate an app which can intuitively, instantly and
creatively print photos.

User Research
We interviewed 10 suitable individuals on the basis of our screener survey. We jot down some interesting insights or experience and quotes from the participants and clumped them based on their similarities.
Competitive Analysis
The majority of the competitors have a strong social media presence
Competitors do not offer motion, 3D and flip prints
But only a few competitors were focused on building a community
Customer Journey
Created to encounter a better understanding of how customers find and interact with the service and to discover opportunities for improvement.
Problem Statement
By developing a intuitive, fast and creative app for ‘memory makers’, we expect to see enhanced user satisfaction along with the product gaining viral popularity on social media. This growth will be reflected in the a significant rise in app downloads, as well as increased purchases of the product itself, including paper and ink supplies.
User Flow
Fabricated to organize the content so that users would easily adjust to the functionality of the product. Their feedback allowed for quick iterations and formed the basis for the high-fidelity mock-up.

Login Screens
User can log in to app through mail or socialnetworks which will then allow to connect printervia phone bluetooth.
Camera Screens
Users can choose among different genre of photo like flip, motion, 3D and still. Each type will specify its own mandate, which can be previewed and printed.
Gallery Screens
Similar to camera, users can select photos or videos from gallery among different genres. Upfront can preview and print.
Filter Screens
Photos can be edited by adding filters, effects and can addtexts, stickers to enhance it.
